Aging can cause your self-confidence to boom! As people age, their knowledge of the world – and themselves – grow. Dr. Elizabeth Glisky, PhD. and psychology professor at the university of Arizona states, “Their sense of self-identity gets stronger, and they have experienced a lot of different experiences to support that. With all that together you know who you are and what your about, and you have a lot more self-confidence than when you were younger.”
To help maintain that confidence, always keep in mind that everyone’s confidence level can suffer from time-to-time. Replacing negative thoughts with positive thoughts along with positive actions, is by far the best way to battle a lower level of self-confidence.
