Legal Services Developer Program
The Aging Services section of the Montana Department of Health and Human Services has a program titled the Legal Services Developer Program. The main focus is to help older adults, family members, and social workers with law training and legal resources. The program will also inform them of local pro-bono legal services and for older adults, they provide telephone assistance on any legal matter.
The goal is for older Montanans, families and social workers to be empowered with knowledge of the law in matters such as legal documents, forms, elder-abuse, fraud and elder-law in general.
Aging Services of Montana hosts an annual 1-Day conference on the issues of concern to the elderly of Montana, caregivers and social workers, such as matters of law and social issues.
