What Age is Officially Old?
AARP has published an online article (www.aarp.org) entitled “The Age at Which You are Officially Old”. The popular adage “that you are only as old as you feel”, has not stopped people from pinpointing an age at which you are officially old.
To develop the different aspects of the aging process, AARP interviewed individuals from 4-separate generations:
Millennials Ages 21-36
Gen Xers Ages 37-52
Baby Boomers Ages 53-72
Silent Generation Ages 73+

To discover more information on the Millennials concept of aging, AARP introduces the Millennials to older adults (ages 65+). After a time of interaction with vibrant older adults, their perceptions of “old” changed drastically. They embraced a new concept on aging, that is, it does not mean decline.
