Gallatin County Council on Aging
The Gallatin County Council on Aging (GCCOA) is a non-profit organization focused on the senior citizens of our community. Their mission is aid seniors with a with a wide of services such as education, information, assistance and advocacy. These services lead to the seniors independence and dignity. One major goal is to remove barriers, allowing seniors to entirely welcome to take part in community activities.
AdvoCare Home Care Services is proud to say they are a member of GCCOA. Our Community Liaison, Dennis Springer of the GCCOA’s newly formed Events Committee. The events committee’s goal is to sponsor at least one event per annual quarter, that is beneficial to the older citizens of our community. Those events will provide information that will enhance seniors lives, or be in support of other advocacy groups (i.e. the Annual Alzheimer’s Walk).
One of the GCCOA’s major benefits to the community is the bi-annual publication Senior Resource Guide. The guide provides a full list of agencies, facilities and services available in the Bozeman area. If you are interested in a copy of the 2020-21 edition give us a call at 582-5402.
